We aim to continuously optimise Staffcloud and to adapt it to both our customer's needs and the realities of flexible work environments. As such, our developers have once again been busy writing new features over the past few months. This article gives a short overview of these new functionalities.
This features is ideal for those times when you are trying to tell several staff members an important requirement for a certain assignment, but do not want to contact each and every one of them separately. Writing an employee note ensures that everyone involved in the project sees it when they look at their employee app. Employee notes have been developed to give you even more security in knowing that all team members have the necessary information without having to contact them via e-mail or other communication channels.
Although Staffcloud has always enabled planners to send messages to groups or individuals directly from the interface, the new feature further streamlines communication.
Also in this release: Aside from employee notes, you can also write planner notes, which are only visible to planners. In addition, assignments and projects can now be tagged to facilitate their organisation.

You can now chat to staff members via WhatsApp directly from Staffcloud. The WhatsApp link is displayed next to your team members' phone numbers. As WhatsApp is the most used communication channel among many people, this integration constituted a logical step for us. With this, planners can skip a step when communicating with team members via chat.
Also in this release: You can now set individual permissions for planners when it comes to editing employee data. In addition, team members can now be filetered by wage profiles.

In calendar planning, you can now change your planning view from the standard employee view. See your project sorted by functions instead and get an overview over exactly how many staff members are assigned to each function. This is particularly useful for larger, more complex projects with many different functions.
The number of already assigned staff members can be found next to each function, highlighted in yellow. With the + symbol, you can quickly allocate further personnel. This new feature links scheduling and staff planning even closer together, as you no longer need to change to the project view to get an idea of your assignment functions.
